Hi,

I have a 90 LJ70 sqaure headlight with a 2.4TD (2LT) engine, i was wondering if I am correct in stsrting to diagnose where I have an issue. One of my problems at the moment are my brakes, when i hit the brake pedal the car pulls on one side(right) and if i press a bit hard the disc squels a lot as the right side (driver side) is considerably more worn than the left.

First assumption without checking is stuck/worn passenger side calliper so a caliper rebuild would help.

Anything else i should have a look at.

P.S. brake master is new and system bled properly.

Regards,
Kyle

Yes, I'd agree that it's likely a caliper issue. I'd suggest rebuilding (or replacing) your calipers, and replace disks and pads too.

I rebuilt my calipers when I first bought my LJ78, and they've worked great since. My rears were seized at that time.
