Little Help? What Li Battery will fit in the Dobinsons Drawer Wings? (1 Viewer)

Will finally get my '97 LX450 back the end of the week after a year long wait for parts and install. Planning electrical upgrades and will install a Li battery in the wing area of the Dobinsons drawers next tot he quarter panel. Would like to have the battery ordered and ready for install when I get the truck back.

If you have Dobinsons drawers, can you please send measurements of the passenger side wing area?

Better yet, does anyone have a battery mounted in this area? What battery did you purchase and how did you mount it?

Ron, at 42” wide and 10” high, the PS compartment should be able to fit a 9” tall battery. Footprint of the battery would have to be sized up In the vehicle. Not sure you can fit a group 31 back there on the floor after the wheel hump. May need to be smaller.

You can try a bmw battery mine fits in that area
