What do you guys think about swapping in a NV3500 or 700r4 and the transfercase out of a 91 s-10, My fj40 isn't lifted, runs 31-10.5 tires and stock 4.11 gears with a stock style 350 and a single barrel carb, the last time I took it to browns camp I never even bothered with 4wd, I think the parts ought to hold up, but is there some terrible thing about the s-10 np231 I don't know about?
