I'm in the process of getting a younger sibling for my BJ42 (3B engine) in the form of a medium wheelbase FRP top 70 series. I've been browsing the forum and different sites for some time I can't find definitive answers for a few questions so I thought I could ask you good people since you have way more experience with the 70 series than I do.

1. Does only the heavy duty variant have the narrower front fascia / hood? See pictures attached if you don't know what I am talking about. One of them has narrower front grille and wider fenders.. Up until now I've only seen BJ7x and PZJ7x with this front end.
2. Do the body panels from the narrower front end fit the other models without other body modifications? Can you just swap the grille, hood, fenders and headlights from one model to the other?
3. Which heavy duty models get front coils and rear leafs suspension? If I am correct all the light duty models have coils front / rear and heavy duty models have rear leafs but the front can be either coils or leafs.
4. Which models are available with weight adjustable driver seat. Up until now I've only seen this type of driver seat on LJ7x.

Not sure about the market differences, but I am referring to those that were available in Europe. Thank you!

LJ front has a different radiator/fender front body mounts from the heavy duty ones. You can swap front ends just have to fab or get new/used appropriate mounts. The heavy duty coil front/leaf rear started either in 1999 or 2000 I believe. If you want the 60 series front end, the current style, I would guess they would bolt up to the firewall just fine, but you would also need new front body mounts.

From 2000 to 2007 the mid wheelbase HD models have the coil springs in the front and rear leaf springs.
