Alcan will make whatever you want. Adam Tolman had 5" springs made for his FJ40 "MONYPIT" and was running 37s, spring UNDER. Worked great for him.

The general recommendation is to spring it over if you want to go taller than the standard lift kits on the market.

I thought I seen 4" and 6" lifts for sale on www.man-that-aint-free's web site.....

SOA is it's own thing, either go that way, or stay away.

If you stay SU, then start with OME (Dakar). Get longer shackles (dd113 has this setup dialed). If that's not enough, add a body lift. OME + longer shackes gets you to 3 - 4" of lift, depending on which length shackls you choose. Body lift can go 1 - 2 inches additional. If you need more than that, go SOA.

You can do a shackle reversal too which will get you maybe 1-1.5 extra inches in the front i think.

The MAF kit uses a their 2.5" lifted springs with the shackle reversal too get their 4" lift.
