Hey gang - the handle latch on my rear lift gate (part with back window that swings upward) rusted through on one side (see pics). I can still open the door as the right side is still attached but I know it's not long for this world and I need to replace this piece. I'm looking at the Toyota parts diagrams and I'm just not at all confident in my ability to identify the right piece.
I've downloaded the service manual and it looks like maybe it's the "Back Door Outside Handle Assembly" but, if it is, no parts number there either.
I'm trying to get better about doing my own repairs and not just taking it to the shop for every little thing. Not off to an auspicious start I'm afraid haha
