This is exactly what i want to do to mine. Remove the tan, especially the dealer added tan door bottoms. why not remove the trim vs painting it on the vehicle?

Looks Great!
I just didn't want to deal with pulling them off, clips breaking, having to redouble stick tape them, etc... I actually bought a set of aftermarket moldings that I was going to attempt to paint and install, but they really need OEM clips and the sizing/fitment looked like they were going to be a bit off.

So I just decided to paint the originals on the car, its a lot easier. There was enough room to slip tape between the moldings and the body panels, there were a few spots that I had to use flip tape (3M Trim Tape)... It came out clean.

Well well well!
A white (062 code?) LX470.
In sunny Queensland  :)

(Queenslanders are colloquially known as banana benders)

Here's one with the ECB bar, I went for it as 35kg instead of the ~70kg ARB bar.

(oh and welcome to the mud

Hey willyroo, thanks for the welcome. Long time lurker, finally took some time to take a photo or 2. Been 2 years since bought and slowly transformed.

Paint code is 070 actually. Don't know what the difference is though. Yours looks to be the later model 06+

Just wish I had your tail lights! (We could swap if you want......)

They came with the bullbar - it's an ECB (East Coast Bullbars).

Black Bear Pass this past HIH8. Spray painted the stock rims and plasti-dipped the trim

This looks great. is this just white plasti-dip on the trim and anthracite dip on the wheels? I am looking to do something similar.

Rock Warriors acquired at end of 2022, brand new Nokian Outpost AT 285/70R17's immediately put on, and the Prinsu locked and loaded a few weeks ago for the drive to Mammoth. Had some fun too putting the Nokians to the test several times on the Mammoth Scenic Loop in a couple feet of snow, driving in depths and storms when no other car dared to! Wish I'd taken some in snow pics, though. :-(

I need to hide the wires coming up the windshield using the KC Lites wire hiders. In my haste for my winter trips I didn’t get to finish the install.

I spray painted my hood due to the glare from the lightbar.

Yup. I Plasti-Dip trim and spray painted the wheels with "wheel spray paint" that I bought from the auto store. Since then I also plasti dip the bumpers too.

@KraziAzn the All White is so clean. Is your year the Anthracite or Natural White?

My truck had the ugly grey side cladding and front/rear plastic bumper.

Lol no idea. It's a 2000. My guess is Natural White.
