i've been looking at these for my cruiser, but I dont know if they would be a good idea or not. or if there worth the money. lights does anyone run thses lights or used them? are they really any better than the stock tail lights? by the way I dont know what my tail lights look like I've never be able to use them.

There are plenty of people using LED's for tail lamps....

74fj40 just had a thread cooking about tail lamp options...

LED lamps are significantly brighter than stock, and will last far longer than an incandescent bulb, provided you do not smash them on a rock or log. ;)

They look like a decent replacement for a factory lamp.

You probably could get yourself the stock bracket from Cdan out here, and might find a LED insert assembly for less money on the web somewhere....

Good luck!

I've got a set on my cruiser and I have received a lot of compliments. Actually, its about the only compliment I've received on my cruiser... :D

LED Taillights

The local tractor supply company has two types of 4" round LED taillights. One is about $26 and the other $50something with twice as many LEDs.
Have't tried yet but it looks like they will slide into the stock location.
