LED Lift-gate License Plate Lights (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I need to replace my license plate lights (the whole unit / lenses and backing).

The plastic is so brittle, due to age, that they both broke while I was doing some work on the lift-gate.

OEM lenses are $15 each, which I don’t mind, but I’ve seen these LED ones on eBay:

There is a review from someone stating they are too small for 100 series LCs, but they are listed as compatible. The pictures show the back side which looks exactly like the OEM ones.

The holes on my lift-gate are slightly larger due to some rust damage, so I might have to MacGyver something anyway.

If no one else on here has tried these out, I suppose I will be the guinea pig.

Yes, these are the ones I have and they are bright AF! They have an included bracket (whole assembly) I super-glued mine in because I broke one of the clips that holds it in.

They are the same bulbs as the ones in the front interior map lights. I used spares from my PFRAN kit.

Same here, and they are plenty bright.
