1987 Hilux 2L non turbo bone stock
Noticed a few months ago when I started the truck up that it had a fuel leak, by the time I got it on the hoist and removed the skid plate it was no longer dripping but the injection pump was soaked in fuel. Cleaned everything off shampoo and brake clean, everything was dry as a bone. Installed dye into the fuel filter and ran the truck on the hoist for 40 minutes... absolutely no fuel.
Fast forward to Wednesday, again went to move the truck and again noticed fuel dripping, certainly shows the UV dye well and best I can see it's coming from the back of the injection pump where the fittings attach. No fittings are leaking however just the pump housing seems to be leaking somewhere back there.
Any ideas? Seal kit availability? Only leaking at start up for a short period?
Truck is not in regular use so I'm not in a hurry to rip it apart, just did the t/belt and w/pump last spring...
