Leaking fuel filler tube - does JDM81 diesel fit?

My fuel filler tube (97 LX) has now started leaking each time I fill up. I think it's leaking where it is clamped to the frame cross member due to corrosion. A buddy gave me one off a JDM81 that's a bit rusted. From what I can see, it looks similar, but before I tear into this, does anyone know if it will fit and what other bits should I get or need.

You could pull your truck up on Toyodiy.com and get the filler tube part #, then use the cross reference feature to see if its the same one used on HDJ81's.

I was able to confirm that infact the fuel filler tube (77201-60350) used on my vehicle 97 LX450 is also the same as that used on a HDJ80, but I also found out there are two other P/Ns:

77201-60330: PIPE SUB-ASSY, FUEL TANK INLET 01.1990 - 01.1992 FJ80,HDJ81,HZJ81

AND

77201-60331: PIPE SUB-ASSY, FUEL TANK INLET 01.1992 - 11.1997 FJ80,FZJ80,HDJ81,HZJ81 01

It seems now, I just have to confirm what year the donor vehicle was, because if it was built after 01.92, then it should fit according to the data from the "japancars.ru" and Toyodiy, but the P/N listed is different 77201-60331 vs 77201-60350. Strange? I guess, then is there any difference between a NA FZJ80 and a FZJ80 from Europe. I think I need Beno or Dan to chime in...

After looking at the filler neck from the JDM, it is in fact different. First off, it does not accommodate a threaded fuel cap, but rather the old style notched type, spring flange type. Also, I can see what looks like two vent tube openings on mine, whereas there is only one vent tube/ opening on the JDM. Looks like I'll be ordering a new one soon.

Has anyone used 77201-60331 found on ebay? If so what was your experience? Did you need a different filler cap etc. ?
