leaf springs and shackles question..... (1 Viewer)

Is there a company out there that makes stock height leaf springs for a 75 FJ40?

All I see are the 2.5 / 4 inch lift kits... Im just looking for stock height...

And these, (pics below), are the shackles that are on my Fj40 currently, but I have looked and looked for stock shackle pics, including here, and have not been able to find any..... figure I would just ask.

I know that there is an ugly steering box in the way here, but besides the steering box location, is this where the springs/shackles are supposed to be located? Is there enough room for a stock bumper?

Alcan makes any height you want. I also think you can get OEM leaf springs from Toyota. (if not, someone will correct me. @JohnnyC)

Yes a stock bumper will fit. Here is what the stock shackles look like.

are all the leaf springs the same size and shape?

I.e....can i use front leaf springs and put them on the rear...and swap them all around..??

No, the front and rear springs are the same length, but the rears have more arch.
