So, I sheared (shore?!) my leaf spring centering pin on my rear leaf pack and the whole axle decided to shift forward on my pack and I guess I am wondering what people use as a heavy duty pin? Something that is unlikely to shear off again? Any good recommendations? (As a side note, I am currently SOA'd and working on building an antiwrap bar, which I suspect will help a lot, but want to do this in case it will help as well.)

Thanks,

Been SO for years and when this happen IMHO it's due lousy u-bolts which are the ones in charge to really hold your axle in place .. not your center pin ..

For your original question .. no HD center pin that I'm aware of ..

Used to be a place on the north side of downtown Denver called Denver Spring. They had everything you needed for spring work. I had them do a re-curve that lasted quite a while, and I had them do an extra leaf which also worked well. I had them replace the center pins at that time because they were beat to snot. I also bought 2 extras to carry as trail spares. John
