For you guys looking at 200's look in Texas. When I was looking before there seemed to be quite a few in Texas.

I've heard this statement of 500 white and black each, but only 100 silver/gray each before. Did Toyota put those numbers out themselves? I feel like I have seen a ton of silver or gray whether on this forum or listed on dealer sites and if there were only 100 of them for the country I feel like I'd have seen A LOT fewer.
@Eric Sarjeant would you be kind enough to confirm these numbers, even via pm if you prefer. After all, tomorrow the J200 is officially history.

Looks like production has ended for 200 and 300 has begun.

Notice the date indicator below.

Just seen the new bronco for the first time yesterday ... looks like a generic Range Rover ... the cheaper one . Had to drop a buddy at a jeep dealer today and had time to kill so I checked out a eco diesel JKU ... Talk about a piece of crap , the diesel was ok I guess , would have thought jeep would have up graded the frame , same frame just diesel motor out of the ram ... 60k for that is crazy .
I heard the 5th gen 4runner maybe discontinue , I had 2 of the 5th gen and that was the runner up to the 200 LC IMO ...
Hold on to your 200 ... Unless you own one you don't really know how good you got it , jeep guys were raving about there machines have no clue .

Local dealer just took delivery of a Feb build Heritage. Gotta be one of the last new ones.

March sales numbers are out, 640 units for the month for the LC. January was slightly higher but strong numbers. When I do a national search on Auto Trader there are 455 new LCs available. If April is the last month dealers will be getting LCs on the lot, we should be out of inventory by June.

Used Tundra’s TRD pros are selling Over MSRP, likely due to the chip shortage. Wonder if the same will happen for the LC or perhaps just depreciate slower.

Hmmm....That means if I were to sell my '21 blizzard HE, I should prob wait until summer onwards. Exciting but scary.

Did you see a new Bronco or Bronco Sport

They are completely different vehicles

if you were planning to sell, I would certainly wait until all new supply is gone. my take may be wrong but if you were planning to sell anyway, waiting a couple of months should net net you a better price Or at least a very similar price. I would say the upside outweighs the downside.

I like how you said it, “the upside outweighs the downside”. Will know soon if I can get the elusive gray Heritage. A part of me wants to keep both but it is not practical.

A twin turbo sort of defeats the “simple and reliable” ethos of the land cruiser...so they’re getting rid of it in the USA.

we will still have the Lexus because it’s ok if it isn’t “simple and reliable.”

Toyota will probably gussy up the tundra and sequoia a bit to fill the void left by the loss of the full sized land cruiser...and perhaps reintroduce a simpler fj variant and call it a land cruiser to attempt to truly compete with the Broncos and jeeps.

Now that we are in May, can we find out how many 200's sold in April? I'm guessing that number is getting smaller. I'm still hoping to find a '21 HE that's not overpriced.

I believe Toyota will release the numbers tomorrow, happy to update. I would argue the sales numbers aren’t as relevant as the available inventory, especially since you are after a HE. per AutoTrader there are 368 LCs with 92 that have Heritage in the text. Not sure how much inventory is going to still be coming in but assume not much.

i Shared this in Another thread but a guy on YouTube (untamed motors), just picked up a ‘21 HE. He called over 50 dealerships an traveled from Seattle area to Tennessee to save a few grand, so dealers not really moving much on price. May be worth it if you have a fair amount of free time.

I'd be curious to see what the numbers are. I also saw that YT video. He had a '20 black HE that he sold late last year in place of a Tundra but decided to return to the LC badge.
Lucky for him to get the '21 mgm HE.

I have a down payment on a '21 mgm HE, but until I have it at home I feel nervous about it. I have been curious about the total # of HE's and the color breakdown. I'm so close to owning one, yet so far. Hope to have it by the end of the month.

Best of luck @FJ Dude ! Hope you get yours soon. That same YT video (Untamed Motors) @LXstalker was talking about, the vlogger mentioned something like 400 each for black & white ‘21 HE and 200 each for gray & silver ‘21 HE. He wasn’t so sure about it but that’s what he gathered.
