LC GX-Rs with snorkels spotted in No. VA

Spotted a convoy of LC GX-R's (isnt' that the grade used Down Under?) with snorkels but left-hand drive in Northern VA the other day. My guess is they are temporary imports for special overseas mods...sigh

Those appear armored. Steel wheels too. Wonder what the power train is.

Toyota Gibraltar sells them in that same package (sans armor) with the 4.5 TTD V8. You can get them in a manual or auto box, but they’re fairly stripped down. None of the bells and whistles that the VX has.

Govt vehicles getting armored up and making sure all is good before sending them back out.. See them on a regular near work and soo much want!
