Favorite storage is in an alarmed safe. For starters, 2 cattle dogs are nearby, very territorial and concerned with strangers, to put it mildly. They can put a 1200 lb. steer on the ground. I doubt you'd be a problem.

An ISP captain lives 2 doors up the road. Calls to the sheriff in this neighborhood result in very rapid response, and lots of it.

Finally, rural agricultural neighbors tend to be protective of each other. Strange cars parked on the side of the road are checked out.

I'd say go for it. ;) We could use a good floor show on a Saturday night. Remember that that 18 U.S.C 18 (u) notes that gun theft from a licensed dealer can result in 10 years in the can and $250K. You'd get an Idaho sentence for burglary or robbery. When you're done with that, you'll understand that federal courts here will toss the book at you for crimes relating to firearms.
You have my word I will not mess with you. I am low level and only target stupid people. That is not you and I am scared and going back to the classified section to look for a good deal on tires.

Better than a safe...

I hope you have taken serious additional measures to secure the container...
Shipping containers are not difficult to defeat. We had to break into three containers at work, and we were all a bit stunned at how easy it was. Two of them had additional security devices...and in less than 45 minutes, we had defeated all three.

It's in a secure warehouse and isn't the most valuable asset there by a long shot.

Not necessarily your case, but when I see weapon stockpiles, I always wonder how much food and water the owner has also stockpiled. When this has been neglected, I see a future well-armed looter when the $#it hits the fan.

I'm no prepper. Just worked in the industry for a while and these were far better solutions than an endless row of safes given the space we had available and the volume of firearms we had to store.

Nice storage room. I still like the safe better. More secure plus fire proof, I wish I have a walk-in safe.

The container is plenty fireproof given that it's in a steel warehouse with very little that could burn. It's actually surrounded by other containers, sitting on a concrete pad. Sadly I'm needing to find another option as I sold off my 42% of the company about a month ago.

I have some room in my backyard...:grinpimp:

I'll need a key to look in on things for you of course...
