Later model H42 transmission in early FJ60

If you remove the spacer on a later model H42, will this bolt up correctly to an early pre-1985 FJ60 which originally came with the 'shorter' H42?

the spacer is on the rear of the trans between it and the transfer.
yes it will attach to the bellhousing, but you would need the spacer to attach the transfer case to the trans, then driveshaft mods, longer bolts for the transfer to trans, different transfer linkage, etc

No. Without the spacer, the transmission output shaft is way too long. It would stick out the back of the T-case by 4".
