I’m wanting to replace the metal coolant line on an 83 FJ40. This is the line that runs from the heater (cowl) to the junction pipe near the radiator. Mine is rusted to hell. I replaced my oil cooler metal lines and rubber with new OEM. Anybody know if this metal line is still available? If anyone has a part number that would be great. I can’t find it in the diagrams I’ve searched. Thanks

Also has anyone just skipped the metal line and ran a rubber heater hose?

I did a little searching and found the pic of a 60 series. Maybe your pipe isn’t 40 series?

Put an ad in the classifieds. Me and several other have good used ones available. I’m out of the office until Tuesday. If you haven’t located one by then, give me a jingle and I’ll snap you a pic.

FWIW, I agree with @JMZ400 that it looks a lot like a 60 series part. I probably tossed my 40 series pipes into the 60 series bin box.
