does not look too bad to me? problem is it is hard to tell if the hood has "waves" in it until you paint it. I am not a paint / body guy.

Noah, I wouldn't say it has 'waves' in it. But, the pictures show part of the lip on the underside of both corners is gone from rust, there is a shallow divot on the passenger side of the center rib, and another shallow divot where the passenger side ridge separates the louvers from the center panel.
