I was wondering what clutch mc if any out of another toy I could use to replace my 40's. I could go with an aftermarket from the local advanced auto parts for 70 bucks but it seems I could pick up a better quality toy for less at the junk yard.

Thanks

Chase

The later master cylinders are a two bolt pattern....not three.

You could make anything work, but I would not waste the time on it, and would not by any hydraulic component other than Toyota....

PM Cdan and see what he can do...bet it is not that much more for OEM.....and should last you another 25 years....

Good luck!

Stick with a factory replacement. Its the correct bore, throw and will bolt up in the right place. A little bit off can ruin a clutch pretty fast by not engaging enough or not disengaging enough.
