SO when I do a SOA, what do I need to do with the old center pin. it is above the spring. do I just use the bolt head on the spring center bolts as the part that goes into the perches center hole to hold te axle in place?

(When the axle is aboe the sprins, the perch's center hole is held in place with the spring pin, but SOA, all I have is the bolt head on the pring center bolts to work with)

That is what I have seen.

You could take the springs apart and reverse it if you wanted to, I do not think that would really gain you anything.

Good luck!

If I'm taking the springs apart for any other reason (or if the old center pin is busted when it all comes apart), I'll put the new pin in the other way. But it works just as well either way.

Mark...

my local napa autoparts has drawers of these. kinda good idea to keep a couple spares anyway.
