What is the Largest Tires size for stock 16" wheel and no lift

I plan on lifting my cruiser next summer, I want to know what the largest size I can get is while stock. So that I am at least close to where I want to be once it IS lifted. THANKS!

Without rubbing...a 285/75-16 is what most folks will say.

The above is correct. I did it based on what most folks say and it worked fine. BFG KO2's, 285/75R16

285/75... tested and proven 10 years running.

What about the skinniest tall tire that fit without rubbing on stock 16inch wheel?

I know it’s been said a thousand times, but I believe it and I think it warrants a reminder: your lift won’t affect tire size unless it’s a body lift. If they rub stock then they’ll still rub with a lift, just maybe not as often.
