They WILL NOT fit a ball and claw, 1967, coarse spline, drum brake outer axle shaft.

Hi all,

To use these later model Aisin manual lock-out hubs you will need to junk the existing 1968 front axle you have, and switch to front disc brake outers fitted to a 1969 up front axle tube.

Regards,

Alan

I believe some switched side gears in the diff, removed the brass bushing and milled the housing to except a seal. Then ground the knuckle out to fit in a birfield. So it could be done why I'me not sure but it could be done. When you do install the outer disc brakes they need to be post 78 to use the shorter hubs.

Are these still Available? Are these the short body, 30 spline?

Do not know if they are available but these are the shorter hubs.
