I originally posted this for sale a week after Christmas - sheesh I need to work on my timing - a few weeks earlier and it would have made a great present for some-one! Hopefully there are fatter wallets now.

For sale - 1x OEM Aux/Sub tank and misc bits for a LC-80 series.

This is from a "street queen" 1997 Auz LC, and has a petrol/gas sender unit - perfect match for the US LC's - the sender was removed to protect it during the shipping from Auz to me.

The dual-fill neck has the hard-to-find unleaded restrictor and flap.

The sub-tank switch is brand new from Slee (when he had these), and there is a brand new George's transfer circuit board.

You'd need to add a transfer pump from Napa - around $50.

This 13 gallon tank fits ABOVE the spare tire. So you can keep your spare tire where it is if you fit this tank.

Here is the definitive install thread from Romer - https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/150756-oem-sub-tank-aux-fuel-tank-setups-faq.html.

I had planned to install this in my LC, but have one too many projects right now.

Every-thing in the pictures is included - nothing else is included.

Not parting out - all items for a total of $1250 cash.
I can accept a credit card or paypal via my Wife's business.

Available in the Houston TX area for viewing and pickup.

I really do not want to ship this. However, if you really want it, it will be an additional $150 for two boxes well packed, insured and shipped to your lower 48 US address.
If you live in AK or HI let me know and I'll figure the additional cost. No Canada or International shipping.

Sorry about the pic sizes - I'd rather post up detailed pics than have PM's constantly asking for detailed pics.
If they are too uncomfortable to view online, right-click and save them to your computer, and then view them.

When SOR and MAF had these in stock, they were over $900, plus tax, plus shipping, and that did not include the switch, or George's board ....

Thanks! Keith.

This is really tempting. I have an insurance check coming, but I really need to get my 315 out of the stock location and up onto an armored bumper. I'm definitely interested, but I'd have to figure out some other way to store my spare. Inside isn't really an option.

It's my understanding that all that you would need to get this kit to plug and play is a transfer pump from napa. Is that correct?

Hi Nick, you can keep your spare in the original place under the vehicle - the tank I am selling fits above the spare tire's stock location i.e. in the air gap - see Romer's how-to link in the first post for pics.

Yes, you'd need to have a pump to transfer from the sub tank to the main tank - Napa part # P74019 works great - go to http://www.napaonline.com/MasterPages/NOLMaster.aspx?PageId=801 and put P74019 in the search box, click part number, and click the red arrow - show your AAA card and it's under $50.

Thanks! Keith.
