I'll be camping and :steer:land cruising:steer: this weekend Nov 7th through the 10th somewhere in Arizona.

Camping Friday, Saturday, & Sunday nights, returning home on Monday.

Destination unknown:hmm: - depends on if I'm going solo or having company.

You are welcome to join for any or all days and feel free to suggest destination(s) . . . I already live in Arizona so "go to *ell" would be redundant!:)

*UPDATE* I'm leaning towards exploring the area between Quartzite & Lake Mead. This is the Northwest area in the Peter Massey Backcountry Adventures book.

All booked for this weekend but sounds like a good time.

Prior commitments this weekend but thanks for posting

Yes, weathers perfect but weekends planned up already for me too. Ahhh, the life of the free spirit....

Have fun no matter what you do.

Normally I would be all in but the beach is calling my name.

There is only one very remote dirt road I know of to access Lake Mead on the south side between Temple Bar and South cove. It is very remote having seen it from the water several times and rarely every seen anyone there. Always want to do it some day.
I still have Alstrom Point on my 2014 bucket list if you or anyone else have anymore time available this year.

Anytime between 12/15 and 01/05 will work best for me.

Claudia, you could always go again and this time not have to save some German visitors in rental cars. Drive the lexus.

I was already there 2.5 weeks ago :p

Cool! Im looking forward to finally going and finalizing my 2014 off road adventure bucket list.

my brother drove the LX, I was in the Blazer :hillbilly: - the Blazer was more impressive to the Germans ;)

First obstacle - fresh sand dune

I sunk down to my frame in about ten feet. Thank goodness for front & rear lockers, but it still took quite a while to power thru this section at about three inches per minute!
