Torfab is seeking an experienced (or willing to learn) mechanic / fabricator to join our team.

You are a Land Cruiser or Toyota truck fanatic, and love 4-wheeling. We perform lifts, diesel conversions, vortec conversions, and maintenance on Cruisers of all vintage.

The candidate is capable of fabricating steel/wood/etc and thinking outside the box to get the job done. Our clients want specific products installed in their cars, and there is typically no aftermarket support for bracketry, etc. Your job is to squeeze a square peg into that round hole. The other part of this job is simple maintenance, clutches, gears, and even head gaskets.

Quality is job one, our clients will pick up a completed car from our shop, and drive them cross country to get home. Most of the time, they will spend weeks on the road breaking in their new cruiser, and it has to be 100% EVERY TIME.

Our team is like a family, and we work hard and play hard. Salary is DOE, please send your resume and photos of your projects to info@torfab.com

We will be hiring another tech soon, temp to hire this time. Looking for someone for 2-3 months right now to pick up the backlog, and potentially longer. This person will be highly technical, electronics and mechanical background, fabrication is not a must but it's helpful to be able to make bits and pieces.

Cruiserheads are encouraged to apply!

send resume and past project info to info@torfab.com
