Land cruiser 80 with 100 series pads problem! (1 Viewer)

I put 100 series Toyota pads up front on my 96 model (with DBA rotors) 10 years ago, still running that combo after about 65,000 miles. The 96 model stops significantly better than my 97 model with 80 series pads and solid rotors up front.

Both have had their Master cylinders replaced at some point years ago, neither is lifted. Not apples to apples comparison with the different rotors and of course there are other factors that can affect braking (haven't flushed the brake system on the 97 model or replaced the pads since I picked it up).

Maybe I just got lucky with the 96. IDK.
