Wanna help some ppl out there. So imma post the location of the interior fuse. Its located under the front passenger dash. Good reference for those who burnt their interior dome light fuse.

1st, get under the passenger dash.

Then, you'll see a cover. The word 'fuse' is written there. It covers the electrical fuse box, parking sensor etc. Open it by just unclip the 4 clips at the front.

Then you'll see a fuse box at the left. Open the cover and it'll look like this.

Yup!

Just like in the manual.

There is also a fuze box under the driver's side and another in the engine compartment. Lots of fuzes on that bad boy!

Ok, related topic. There are two small interior lights, in the center overhead console. Not talking about the larger clear ones with their own buttons. If I'm understanding this correctly, they're the type that come on with the headlights. They "fire" down and are intended to provide some ambient cabin light while driving. Have similar on my 08 535i. Question: Mine are INOP, is there a dedicated fuse for these?

Pls Advise and Thanks!

That's just toyotas way of screwing with people. Those two tiny squares have nothing behind them and don't have any intended purpose.

It's almost as though Toyota "forgot" to add an LED behind those squares, as well as forgetting to illuminate the buttons in the roof console. A little disappointing for this caliber of vehicle (at a hefty price point).

I was disappointed that these were not "map lights" or something similar. Had another vehicle that had low intensity red lights there that were perfect for referencing a map at night or anything else. Perfect because it didn't mess up your night vision.

Thanks for confirming that there's nothing behind them.

Unfortunate...if I can get an ignition-on lead up there, that will be their exact purpose. Weird though, the material in the little square looks like a diffuser lens, AND friends old Lexus LS has these lights in the same place. Mod time for more light. My Tundra had this type light down by the cup holders.
Thanks,
LR

Has anyone been successful in bringing backlighting and/or ambient lights to the LC overhead console?

So goofy that the light buttons (which are ONLY reached for in DARKNESS!!) are the ONLY buttons **NOT** lit up in the dark! -Never mind that they are TINY...stacked together....and super fiddly.... !! If ever there was a need for back-lighting...these would be it! Doh!! :bang:

Ok, so crickets on this. Has anyone sourced a low intensity LED for any other reason, that might work here? Cheers LR

So i have seen a LC200 with these ambient lighting, also having the same behind each door handle. I have been looking on ways to fix them on to my one but no luck. Any one who has done it yet?

s*** - I knew that’s what those squares were for….! I was under the impression that US market trucks were loaded from the get go… Maybe same parts an Lexus 570, just not used in earlier LCs. What year is your’s?
This is from a 2014 ex Japan ZX. Only one Iv seen it on. Been trying to look for the parts to fit in to another LC200.

Later generation (I believe 2016+) 200's had a 3 row fuse box under LHS dash. I have highlighted IGN and ACC sources, all others are Battery although I have not confirmed a few of the blanks. Also note that Toyota installed fuses and labeled the blank spots so at least in 2020 LC200 DOORDBL/L, AM1, SFT LOCK-ACCD, FOG RR, CIG, and EPM-IG seem to be unused.
