Lancer es 2.0 non turbo starting problem (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone I’m new here so I hope I’m doing this right. I have a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Es non turbo stick that somebody have to me. The car sat for 2 years due to a k frame issue that was under recap so I got fixed for free. Now here’s my problem, the car only starts with starting fluid and then dies when I try to give it gas. I took out the back seat and unplugged the fuel line from the fuel pump and started the engine to see if fuel came out which it didn’t. Does this mean that the fuel pump is bad or could it be something else? I checked the relays and those turned out to be good

check that your getting power and ground at the fuel pump, if you have that then from what youve said it sounds like its time for a new pump
