When the sbc was put in the shifters were moved forward, so the transmission cover needed cutting. Now the H55 moves the shifters further back than stock, so more cutting of the cover would be necessary. A little cut off wheel and welding work (and maybe a hammer) should fix the problem.

Put “air up the tires” on the list. :p
I had to swap on the original tires that came on the 55 and let out all the air to be able to fit it in the short garage (7' door) without removing the Con-Ferr rack... I clear by 1/4" with flat tires. I'll put the 33" tires back on it and move it into the shop garage (8' door) once I get the 40 drivable and out of the shop (waiting on an Orion t-case to be built). :)

More baby steps... cleaned up the parking brake bits last night. Will paint the cover tonight, reassemble tomorrow, and hopefully put it on the 55 on Thursday. Finding time when I can after finishing up at clinic and taking kids to after school activities. 4 days to do a couple of hours of work. lol. Loctite Naval Jelly FTW! Pour it on, let it sit 5 minutes, spray it off with hose.
