If @shayahealth can break the 80 box running 33x10.5s she is more hard core than the lot of us.No. Seems excessive for this build IMO.

You read correct, just maybe not the whole thread. My take away is if you're rebuilding it anyway might as well upgrade it. Toyota has made the upgrade standard on any new 80 series boxes they sell. All of these gear boxes are at the point where they all need to be rebuilt. IMO, the 105 upgrade should be par for the course each and every time. Don’t do it any other way.
Sure, ruin all our fun.Plus, there is no way to do the 105 swap and keep this build under $5000.
But they used Ford Explorers (I'm guessing without 105 shaft upgrades). Maybe they spared some expenses?
You're not trying hard enough, large fires in the morning just to remind us out of control fires are right around the corner are the norm in my shop.I haven’t burned down my garage in 20 years of wrenching on Cruisers,
not a feline fan, except for the Catwomen on Batman, all babes!I just love the looks cats give! They are such Royalty and don’t care what you think
Brutal afternoon removing these 6 rivets. I used every tool I had. This plain sucks but it’s done. Tomorrow we lift. Pallet from @cruiseroutfit was lost in the mail but my buddy Welton chased it down last night. I ran down to Powder Keg and grabbed it.
