L vs R suspension seat frame

How do I tell a left suspension seat frame from a right one?

They're very similar. While the person I bought the frames from helpfully labelled them "driver" and "passenger", I don't know if they came out of LHD or RHD truck.

I can figure it out if someone can tell me if the lock lever is positioned closer to the outside or the inside of the truck (closer to the door, or to the console)?

The lock lever is closer to the door. The left lock lever moves from left to right to lock, the right lever moves from right to left to lock.
