I have no keys for my l/c and that's OK for driving as I have a separate key to the ignition. However I can't lock it because it takes a different key for the door and rear door. Does anyone know where I can take the cylinder to get a key made? I took one to a locksmith where I live and he said he can't do it. Am I going to have to get new ones? The problem with that is I haven't been able to find a matched set. Any help?

Yes. There is a keyed lock on the drivers door and a lock for the back. I have the swing up/tailgate combo on the back of mine.

What about passenger side door? Just wondering cause I'm getting a 73 for my first car and daily driver

I can't speak for a '73 as I don't nor ever have had one. Mine is a '68 and no passenger side key. You have to lock/unlock it from inside.

Ok that's fine. Can you post a pic of the key locks on the drivers door and the rear barn door setup on yours so I can see what it looks like?

this is the same as in my '72 - passenger side can be locked by turning a lever on the inside - on the driver side it has a key lock, but I never had a key for it

when I park outside, I club the steering wheel and take any valuables with me
