Koyorad vs. TYC Radiator Comparison

I just put a new radiator in my 80. Thanks to everyone who posted info about radiator choices... I picked up pieces of info from various thread but saw some conflicting information so I thought I'd post my experience with Koyorad vs. TYC since I had both sitting side-by-side in my garage. Had the Koyo in the '93; was working well for ~ 4 years while the truck was in Baton Rouge. Didn't work so well when the truck moved to Phoenix. The truck now has a TYC (IIRC, off Amazon) as part of a cooling system overhaul (different fan, water pump overdrive pulley); it already had a blue clutch with ~35k fluid in there. It looked like the core of the TYC was a bit thicker than the core in the Koyo.

Just looked at mine last night and its actually a tyc. So I guess I change my vote to tyc


(Anybody else hear Michael Jackson every time they read TYC?)
