I am finishing up my knuckle rebuild and get to torquing the axle flange and one of the studs has broken I believe, it just keeps spinning and spinning, what do you think I’m looking for with this repair?

Pls post some pictures of your issue.

You need new hub studs, nuts, washers and cones. Call Toyota.

If the stud for the drive flange is spinning (I assume when you tighten the nut?), the thread in the hub is stripped. It'll have to be drilled out for a thread insert. 10 minute job, when you get the insert in hand.

For this particular stud, you can use any insert you can get easily. No need to get the platinum plated variety. The hub is solid steel (what is being referred to as "billet" these days, for some reason I can't fathom) so it'll hold any insert pretty well.

Ok I checked again this morning and the nut is spinning on the stud, my thoughts are to cut the nut off and get new studs/washers? Will I be able to back that stud out with pliers since I can’t double nut it to back it out?

Is the nut stripped or are the stud threads stripped?

If its the former then easy/peasy
If its the stud then thats more work

If you dont already have a set of parrot nose vice grips I would suggest you get a pair

They look like this

Search for Stud Puller (or Extractor) Tool there are different types, one type often comes in a kit of 4 different sizes, they look like long sockets but have grabbers inside. IME they work well if the stud isn't rusted or Loctited in place.

Another type has teeth that bite into the stud, better for a stuck stud IME.

Multiple companies make essentially the same thing, OEM brand can often be found at an US Autoparts store. I don't recommend the Performance Tool brand, looks exactly the same as the OEM tool but more cheaply made, the jaws/teeth appeared to be cast metal and all fractured removing a few diff carrier studs. You want the tool with hardened steel jaws/teeth.

Easiest if you have a compact cordless impact wrench, you can zip it out in two seconds with the impact and the puller tool.

This video background music/narration sucks, but it shows how they work.

Don't over think it !!
Carefully cut the one that striped, remove the other 5 nut and cone washers pull the flange then use vise grips to remove the rest of the striped stud.
EASY PEASY !!
