Disregard. Little heat as mentioned above and circular wire brush the same size of the hole did the trick...

For those who encounter a difficult bearing retainer, try using the 1.5" wire wheel from Harbor Freight. Run it up and down in the hole a few times and then hit the retainer post with some emory paper. The wire wheel seems to heat it up enough to make easy work out of it...
