knuckle bearing wear

quick question on knuckle bearing wear patterns..

I did a knuckle rebuild this weekend. And eventhough the force requires to turn the knuckle is in specs, what I found strange was that the upper bearing had WAY more wear damage the the lower one. Is this normal or should I have the preload checked out?

BTW the rebuilt was a breeze thanks to coolerman's site.

It is common, but not good. Replace them. They are cheap.

thanks pinhead. Already replaced all bearings, so i'm guesing i'm good to go.
