How does the sniper compare to the carb?
Sorry I took so long to get back to you, I wanted to put some miles on before I gave a true opinion of it. I can honestly say it’s a game changer and how the 2F should of come. I turn the key and allow the fuel pump do it’s thing 2 to 3 secs, once that is done turn the key and it fires right up, even cold. No more pumping the throttle and using the choke. There really is not a power increase, but I do notice that I don’t drive it floored anymore. The unfortunate thing is it’s not smog legal in California which is mind boggling to me as it has to be running cleaner then with a carb. I will be installing it on the 40 when it gets to that point. It improved the drive ability 1000%.

Cool to hear. Modern gasoline is not formulated for carburators. It evaporates super fast and often the carb is dry on startup. The tractor grade intake path doesn't help...

It’s a slow process, is all I will say.

Nice job guys! It's tough not to get overwhelmed on big projects like this, especially in a world that encourages immediate gratification. Keep on keepin' on! Any progress is still progress.
