hey gang, I have heard it is possible to install a keyless entry kit to 80 series fzj80landcruiser. Is anyone able to confirm if this is possible? I have central locking so thought it may be possible to tie into the system, anyone know of any kits? Is genuine an option? Directions or instructions appreciated. Anyone able to help? Thanks

Yep, I have the Avital keyless entry and remote start on my '94.
Which model did you go with. I have the Rostra port installed keyless in my 94. Would like to remove it and go with remote start. Did you install or have someone. Thanks
Same here. I pulled the Rostra system as soon as it started to play up. Took about 1 hour in total to remove it. I purchased this one Avital 5305L 2-Way LCD Remote Start with Security https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BHQ1YTQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_vM1vBbRBZ7JCS but had a local guy install it..he did it in about 1/2 day so not particularly complicated.
