Hey everyone.
I know there are a ton of threads on door lock/unlock issues. But mine is a little different, from what I can tell.
I have a 2000 LC, and I don't use a key fob. Just the key. A few days ago, when I put the key into the driver's side lock, it did not unlock the door, but it did set off the alarm. Unlocking the passenger side door with the key, and the back hatch with the key unlocks all of the doors without setting off the alarm. The power locks all work, including the driver's side. So I don't think it's an actuator or automatic lock issue.
It seems like maybe there is a sensor that's connected to the lock cylinder in the driver's side door that may not be working right or is disconnected. Does this ring a bell to anybody?
Thanks!
