My cruiser has been sitting for the last few months, and the battery keeps going dead. I just had the battery tested and it tested fine. When I was re-installing it into the cruiser it sparked quite a bit hooking the battery cables back up, so I grabbed my test light and connected it in line with the battery cable and was getting a decent amount of light out of it. So something is drawing a decent amount of current. I haven't hooked the multi-meter up to it yet to find out the actual amp draw, but is there something common that will draw alot of current when the key is off?

Do you have the RS3000 alarm? There is a small parasitic draw with those I know.

Well despite the battery testing OK I'd charge it and then disconnect. Measure voltage over a few days to see if it drops.

Otherwise it's time to get the multi meter out and start measuring individual circuits for a draw. I would not expect the alarm/clock/stereo to kill a healthy battery
