i'm taking a long weekend with a buddy and looking to do some runs in the Kern/Lake Isabella area. Probably head up on a Thursday and stay thru sunday. any recommendations appreciated.

If you're looking for something a little challenging, I've done freeway ridge/black mulch trail. I did it several years ago and recall it being fun, but it is rated most difficult. Having lockers will help.
