Thanks for the clarificationIt is a mechanical system, it doesn't have any calibration. You open the shutter valve screws when you do the job and close them after. You may or may not have to mess around after if you have a lean, but it really depends on the outcome.
Also, it is almost (but not completely) impossible to do the front suspension without opening the shutter valve screws. I've done it both ways, and I'll take the job with the shutter valve screws open every time. It is a lot more work, prying, cursing, etc. the other way.It's recommended to open the shutter screws when installing to help the system equalize. It will also do that over time on its own.
