Have owned this '97 LX450 for the past 5 years.
The most obvious is a nicely done Cummins 6BT. This is a pretty fast 80 and does 0-60 in about 11 seconds. It will cruise at 70, 80, 90, NO PROBLEM.
Transmission is fresh and has a custom lower stall torque converter.
Engine has an aftermarket cam and has ran synthetic Mobil 1 oil since we refreshed it.
Paint is a few years old. It was originally black, but changed to 2014 Toyota Arctic White to hide trail scratches better than black.
It has 3.54 gears which is ideal for a diesel swap.
ARB Air lockers front and rear.
Axles are well maintained and rebuilt with all new toyota parts.
The engine swap is clean! No crazy cutting and it's serviceable!
Shocks are long travel RADFLO with remote rezzies and adjusters!
Front bumper is ARB
Sliders and rear bumper are SLEE
Skid plate is Gray Industries
Interior is in excellent shape and leather. Al windows work, sunroof, etc. No cutting of the interior, etc. Leather is all sound and good. No tears!
ZERO body rust. ZERO Rust repair. This truck has NO RUST. PERIOD.
Winch is 10,000lb WARN Zeon with cordless remote and synthetic rope.
Stereo is JVC touch screen with XM radio. Aftermarket speakers so it actually makes audible noise with the windows down!
Wheels are TRD and have lots of trail love on the rims. I actually use this rig as it was intended, so it does have some rash here and there.
Radiator is Ron Davis. $1200 just for the part!
Tires are 35" BFG Mud Terrains KM2. No rubbing. Not sure of total lift, but is what it needs to be. No body lift.
Brake lines are all custom stainless int he flex areas and longer of course. Brake system modified to remove the rear proportioning valve. Front calipers rebuilt. Slotted rotors. This truck actually stops.
No expenses spared building this truck. It's a great daily driver, attention getter, and trail rig.
Looking for $35,000. Who knows how much I actually have in it!!!
