K, the borrowed friend's spare alternator now... (1 Viewer)

When my lights are on they dim, everything..the headlights, lights on the dash, speedo, tach.. When I step on the gas they go brighter...I'm assuming since I had to run my car just on the battery with the screwed up alternator to a friend's house to get teh spare I might've drained the battery a little bit and the alternator is still charging. There was that battery acid blue s*** all over the positve connector to the battery I got baking soda and water and a toothbrush and got most of it out....What else could it be?

Haha, thanks thats what I was just asking. Wondering if there was anything else that could be causing it.

Did you take the connector off or just use the baking soda on the exterior?
