Greetings All, I came across this 1996 FZJ80 with 233,000 miles using AutoTempest.com (searches all of craigslist at once). It was located near Nashville. I paid 8250.00 out the door. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but it already had an ARB front winch bumper, taillight brushguards, and four Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 285/75/16 tires. No lockers. No rust. It looked like a pretty good example that spent most of its life in New Mexico. I was happy to see there are no factory roof rails to promote rust issues. It does leak from the usual places and has low oil pressure at idle. Looking forward to many adventures and experiences.

Without seeing the engine bay and undercarriage, that looks like a really clean truck. For no lockers, that may be a bit high for New Mexico, but pretty normal for the Seattle area.

The best $8250 you’ll ever spend. Verify the oil pressure with a test gauge plugged directly in to block. I l’m willing to bet the actual oil pressure is good but the sender is not. Where does the gauge sit at warm idle and then at 2000 rpm? Pics are best.

Very nice. I like that it doesn’t have roof rails.
