Pappy:

If you believe that the brake lines will work with my SUA, Poser's tombstone tabs, and Monte Carlo Calipers, I will buy them from you.

What are the tumbstone tabs?

Got it. My lines won't use those. What Steve did was very similar to how I did mine. It's a better way to go.

I think Andrew needs to have his own build thread, separate from this Intro to the group thread....cut/paste time me thinks!!! I have a feeling that this thread will go on for months and months and months....

Andrew, PM me a title for the thread and I'll section out the build posts from this thread into a new one.

The Downey lines are a braided stainless that run from the tee on the diff to the brake calipers. It's an easy way to go if you don't want to cut/bend/flare brake line to match up your existing brake lines to the Monte Carlo calipers.

Steve has his set up like mine, only his axle is spring-under. I think Steve's routing is much cleaner than the Downey lines, it looks more professional, but it is more work. Making your own brake system sounds intimidating, but it's actually pretty easy. You can purchase brake line from any of the AutoBox stores with the fittings you will need attached to adapt to the caliper flex line. You will just need to adapt to your metric tee using your existing metric flare nuts.

As with any project there is more than one way to get'er done.

I agree, I have it in draft form in a text editor....does that count? I have some time coming up as I will be out in the oil and gas fields later this week with nothing to do but watch the contractors work. I will post the build thread in a few days.
