Hi guys, Just wanted to post pics of what the stork just bought me. Its going to be a frame off resto. Its a 1965 no engine,no tranny but extra cowl in the bed(nice shape). The frame is decent shape. Finally found one with in my reach and price. Of all places found this in NYC the Bronx!!! Guy bought to restore but decided to sell it. He said truck originally from Alaska (it had alaskan plate) Then bought it from someone in Washington state.
Then brought it home an my 3 yr old says "Daddy why did you buy a broken truck"---lol.

who did you buy it from i see that he also has a LV in one of you pics. did you ask him about that one?

yes hes trying to get rid of that LV too ,and thats his second one he already got rid of another LV and the fj45 pickup to me.
that one is complete and I think he wanted 2000 for it. It was on ebay but did not sell--I know hes looking to get rid of now cheaper than that but i don't know by how much. PM me i can throw u his number if interested (truck) is not running

My brother how did I miss that one?. Nice. Yes it is nice to have a fj45,of any year. Let me know if you need my power washer to clean her up. I also have an unopened gallon of POR15 that would look great on your frame.

started the to clean

just power washed the extra tub im going to use. Not bad condition I had to keep flushing out dirt/sand from bottom rear beam the one with the 2 big acess holes. Thanks Stainless 40/45 for the pressure washer

There was a guy down on the panhandle of Alaska that had a couple of '45s that he'd been intending to restore for years. I lost track of him about 5 or 6 years back but I wouldn't be surprised to hear that you've got one of his old rigs.

If I'm not mistaken he was in Juneau.

Hey Romel, it was great talking 45's with you at the Yankee Toys gathering this weekend. Looks like a really cool project you have in front of you. Don't post up what you paid for it. You might make some people cry.

You its hard to find rusted out 40's for that price these days in the Northeast.
