Just Bought my First 40

I went to day and picked up my new FJ40.....its a 74 with 86K Texas truck so very little rust in the quarters....its the brownish orange. Will get pics up as soon as I get to a camera. Has an exhaust leak and a couple other small issues but nothing major.....the fun has begun!

yea I am used to money pits so I was expecting it......Cant wait to start working and fixing it.......any reason mine doesnt have a roll bar? was that an option? and where can I find the color code so I will know what color it is

A 1974 should have come with a factory bolt-together tin foil bar, as that was the first year for it. I would like to see pictures of your truck and of the inner fender area where the bar should be mounted.

I am right outside Pigeon Forge TN. Live bout 5 minutes from the Bass Pro Shop. A friend of mine has a few 40s and got me into them so now the fun has begun. I hate the first few months of going thru the previous owners messes lol.
