Coming home from snowshoeing yesterday in the mountains and was waiting at a stop sign. A guy in a truck came around the snow covered corner a bit too fast and his rear end slid out and kissed my driver side fender. Luckily, the sliders prevented more damage as his tire ran against those until he got traction again.

Looking for advise since I have never been in an accident before. I did get his contact info, insurance, and pictures of everything.

Pictures of the spot following the hit and after a quick rinse to see what it looked like.

Damnnn that sucks....I’ll give you $8k for it;)

Personally, I wouldn’t worry about that.

Search "insurance", titles only and then either chat or 100 section. There have been plenty of threads asking the same thing about first time accident, what do I do, etc. Surprising to me how many people don't know how insurance works in an accident.

Those look deep. Have a shop sand and buff them and see how much it improves. If you’re happy then leave it, if not have it repainted.
